The Providence Singers invite the community to join us on Tuesday, May 14 as we sing through Mozart's Requiem under the direction of guest conductor Anthony Trecek-King.
Dr. Trecek-King is an acclaimed conductor, speaker, and educator. He served as director of the Boston Children's Choir from 2007-2020 and is currently a resident conductor of Boston's Handel and Haydn Society. He has led performances in world-renowned venues including Boston Symphony Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Carnegie Hall in New York City, Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Sydney Opera House. In addition to his conducting work, he is currently the host of the classical radio show “The Silent Canon” which airs on KNVO 90.7. We welcome members of the community to join us on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 at the Carter Center, 667 Waterman Avenue in East Providence. Bring your own score or borrow one for the evening. Admission is free of charge, but space is limited and advance reservations are highly recommenced.
